High Visable workwear with certifications
When working outdoors in busy environments, it is an absolute must to wear approved hi-vis workwear. There are rules and guidelines for high visable clothing and classes and certifications varies between different industries, but it is always the employer's responsibility to provide the staff with appropriate protective clothing. The certification that applies to hi-vis clothing is called EN 20471 and is divided into three classes.
Classification of hi-vis clothing is based on visibility and how much of the garment consists of fluorescent materials and reflectors.

Hi-Vis clothing in class 3:
-Must have a total fluorescent surface of at least 0.8 m² and reflectors of 0.2 m².
Hi-Vis clothing in class 2:
-Must have a fluorescent surface of at least 0.5 m² and reflectors of 0.13 m².
Hi-Vis clothing in class 1:
-Must have a fluorescent surface of at least 0.14 m² and reflectors of 0.1 m².
